How AIA Was Birthed: A Calling from Grandmother Ayahuasca

After a decade of dedicated work in both coaching and plant medicine, I felt an undeniable pull to work with Ayahuasca on a deeper level. For ten years, I had been immersed in the world of coaching, helping people transform their lives and embody their full potential. But as time went on, my heart began to yearn for something more profound, something that could bring true healing to people on a soul-deep level. This longing led me to connect more closely with Ayahuasca and the sacred community that surrounded it.

For many years, I had been both a participant and facilitator in Ayahuasca ceremonies and retreats. The transformation I witnessed was unlike anything I had ever seen in the coaching world. Ayahuasca's wisdom and the healing it brought to people was powerful and life-altering. But it became clear to me that healing doesn't simply end with the ceremony. What was missing—what I had witnessed time and time again—was proper preparation and integration. I felt a deep calling to offer something more holistic, something that would guide people not only through the ceremony itself but also through the crucial stages of preparation and integration.

In my work as a facilitator, I began to see just how important it was for people to have a safe, sacred space where they could truly integrate the teachings of Ayahuasca. It became clear that we needed a framework for embodying these lessons and a structured approach to helping people process their experiences. I also realized that the true power of Ayahuasca wasn’t just in the ceremony but in how people carried it with them into their everyday lives.

As my journey progressed, I connected with a network of indigenous shamans, psychologists, and doctors who shared the same vision of improving the integration process and showing the appropriate respect for the sacred plant. These incredible individuals brought diverse expertise to the table, and we all agreed that we wanted to work together to create something that would honor Ayahuasca and support the people who had the courage to work with it.

This was the moment when the idea of Ayahuasca Integration Alliance (AIA) was born.

I knew that my own training needed to evolve and expand. It was no longer just about coaching; it was about creating a full-scale alliance dedicated to helping people prepare for, integrate, and transform their experiences with Ayahuasca. With a sense of clarity, I redefined the direction of my program and placed it under the umbrella of AIA. I brought in some of my favorite experts—each with deep knowledge and wisdom in their field—to assist in the creation of a robust, nine-month training program.

The training would guide participants not only through their own process of healing and transformation but also equip them with the tools to facilitate this work for others. This wasn’t just about offering knowledge; it was about guiding people to embody the teachings they received, to fully integrate Ayahuasca’s wisdom, and to make a lasting impact in their own lives and the world around them.

For a long time, I struggled with resistance—doubts about my own worthiness and the fear that I might not be enough. But today, I am proud to say that I’ve overcome that. I can now show up every day, creating content for the Alliance, feeling fully aligned with the mission and purpose of this work. I am deeply honored to be doing this work, and I know in my heart that this is the most important work of my life.

I am filled with gratitude to be working alongside indigenous communities, to be honoring Ayahuasca in the ways she deserves, and to be helping others connect to the sacred plant’s wisdom in a respectful, intentional way. This journey has taught me that transformation isn’t just about the ceremony itself—it’s about the entire process: preparation, integration, and embodiment.

This work is truly my life’s calling, and I am committed to doing everything I can to help others navigate this transformative journey with respect, reverence, and authenticity. The Ayahuasca Integration Alliance is here to support those who are ready to step into their own power, heal deeply, and create lasting transformation—not just for themselves, but for the world around them.

This is just the beginning, and I am excited to see how the Alliance will grow and evolve. Together, we are honoring the wisdom of Ayahuasca and paving the way for a new era of healing and transformation.
